Marthinus is the Founder and Head of Amplify. Vision and determination, an ability to build and maintain relationships, and decades of experience equip him with a unique combination of skills and expertise to lead Amplify from strength to strength.
As someone with a deep affinity for South Africa, Marthinus is committed to doing everything possible to help make this country a self-sustaining success. This passion for sustainability spills over to Amplify, with its goal of positive impact for investors, communities, and the environment.
Ultimately, this is the way both Marthinus and Amplify define success – it’s not how much you gain, but how much you are able to give back.

Nico Janse van Rensburg
As Amplify’s Head of Positioning, Nico Janse van Rensburg uses what he believes to be his biggest strength – relationship building – to create lasting bonds with clients. He plays a critical role in building and maintaining client relationships, while broadening awareness of Amplify’s uniquely meaningful approach to investing.
With a more technical skillset, Nico enjoys being client-facing and thrives in business development and client relationship roles. He views Amplify as a meaningful entity that has the potential to make a real difference in the world – and it is this potential that excites him the most about expanding Amplify’s footprint. His vision is to expand Amplify’s meaningful trajectory, enabling clients to both do well and do good.

His extensive experience in the financial sector has equipped him with a deep understanding of market cycles and a diverse range of investment approaches. At Amplify, Werner is drawn to the company’s boutique nature, diverse product set, and commitment to partnering with boutique asset managers. He believes that Amplify’s position at the forefront of alternative investments makes it well-equipped to navigate the ever-changing industry landscape.

Nadia’s passion for empowering others with knowledge and understanding has always driven her career. This, coupled with her unwavering determination and exceptional skills, led her to an impressive 19-year journey within the financial space, playing an instrumental role in the success of the Ninety One Investment Platform. She quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the Western Cape Regional Platform Manager. At Amplify, Nadia combines her passion for finance with her desire to make a difference, excited by the Amplify’s commitment to partnering with staff-owned fund managers and giving back to the community.

As Amplify’s Business Analyst, Tandiswa Hlomela’s main aim is to try to make things easier through data. Regardless of what she does, she is always asking the question: how can we make client’s lives easier? Tandiswa believes that it is possible to do well while also doing good for others. She is well aware of the importance of creating a sustainable system – one that can support itself and continue to encourage growth. When Tandiswa was asked to join the Amplify team, she was excited to answer a call from her heart. She knew that Amplify would give her the opportunity to be part of a team and an overall community that believes in the power of money to do good. She is devoted to Amplify’s five-year vision and is proud to be an integral part of the team today.
